Seven cycling tours, ranging in length from 16 to 46 kilometres, invite you to get to know the Rhine in the northern part of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Explore the beauty of the romantic Rhine between Drachenfels and the Rhein-Nahe-Eck where the Nahe river joins the Rhine. Some of the tours are circular routes and some can be combined with a ferry or train ride.

A special feature: There are audio points at 42 locations along the routes.

Rheinhessen has a dense network of themed routes.

The Hills Route (Hiwwel-Route) accompanies the Rhine Cycle Route between Bingen and Mainz, partly on the Rhine Cycle Route itself, partly running parallel to it. The same goes for the Rhine Terraces Cycle Route between Mainz and Worms.

This provides you with variety and enables you to put together your own circular routes. Audio tours also invite you to ride and listen in Rheinhessen.

Tours are available using numerous themed routes in the Palatinate, as well as in combination with the Rhine Cycle Route. For instance, the German Wine Road Cycle Route (Radweg Deutsche Weinstraße) runs from north to south parallel with the Rhine Cycle Route and even when not in close proximity to it, the Wine Road Cycle Route is linked to it by numerous cross links. Closer to the Rhine Cycle Route and also running parallel to it for long sections is the Cabbage and Beets Cycle Route (Kraut- und Rüben-Radweg).
